संक्षेप में: आपकी PDF किताबें आपके फ़ोन पर ही रहती हैं, हमारे सर्वर पर नहीं आतीं। हम आपका डेटा न बेचते हैं, न विज्ञापन दिखाते हैं। आप कभी भी अपना खाता और डेटा मिटा सकते हैं।
हम क्या रखते हैं (केवल जब आप खाता बनाते / साइन-इन करते हैं)
- Google से साइन-इन: Google द्वारा दिया गया आपका नाम, ईमेल पता और Google खाता पहचान संख्या (“sub”)। हमें आपका Google पासवर्ड कभी नहीं मिलता।
- ID-पासवर्ड खाता: आपकी चुनी हुई यूज़र-ID और पासवर्ड का केवल हैश (bcrypt) — असली पासवर्ड कहीं सहेजा नहीं जाता।
- सिंक किया गया डेटा: जाप काउंटर (नाम, गिनती, इतिहास), पुस्तक में आपके लिखे/जोड़े पन्नों का टेक्स्ट, पढ़ने की प्रगति (कौन-सा पन्ना) और फ़ॉन्ट-साइज़ जैसी सेटिंग।
- सदस्यता रिकॉर्ड: ट्रायल शुरू होने की तारीख़, सदस्यता समाप्ति तिथि, और आपके भेजे UPI भुगतान का UTR नंबर, राशि, तारीख़ और सत्यापन की स्थिति।
- सुरक्षा: लॉग-इन सत्र टोकन (केवल हैश रूप में), और गलत लॉग-इन/दुरुपयोग रोकने के लिए असफल प्रयासों में IP पता व ID (लगभग 1 दिन बाद अपने-आप हटता है)। होस्टिंग सर्वर सामान्य एक्सेस-लॉग (IP, समय, पेज) भी रखता है।
क्या हम नहीं रखते
- आपकी PDF फ़ाइलें और उनसे बने पन्ने आपके फ़ोन पर ही रहते हैं — वे कभी अपलोड नहीं होतीं।
- बिना खाते के इस्तेमाल करें तो सारा डेटा केवल आपके फ़ोन (ब्राउज़र स्टोरेज) में रहता है।
- हम बैंक/कार्ड विवरण नहीं लेते। भुगतान आपके UPI ऐप से सीधे होता है; हमें केवल वह UTR नंबर मिलता है जो आप स्वयं डालते हैं।
- कोई विज्ञापन, कोई ट्रैकिंग/एनालिटिक्स नहीं।
उपयोग
यह डेटा केवल आपको साइन-इन कराने, आपके फ़ोनों के बीच जाप व प्रगति सिंक करने, ट्रायल/सदस्यता चलाने और भुगतान सत्यापित करने के लिए उपयोग होता है। नए UTR की सूचना सत्यापन हेतु हमारे ईमेल पर आती है। हम आपका डेटा किसी को बेचते या किराये पर नहीं देते।
तीसरे पक्ष की सेवाएँ
- Google साइन-इन (accounts.google.com) — केवल जब आप “Google से जारी रखें” चुनते हैं। Google की नीति: policies.google.com/privacy
- Google Fonts (अक्षर-शैली) और pdf.js (cdnjs / jsdelivr) — ऐप के हिस्से लोड करने के लिए।
- ऑनलाइन पुस्तक-खोज इस्तेमाल करें तो आपकी खोज archive.org / gutendex / gutenberg को जाती है।
- UPI भुगतान आपके UPI ऐप और बैंकों के माध्यम से होता है।
डेटा मिटाना
- ऐप में: मेनू → खाता (☁) → “खाता हटाएँ”। इससे सर्वर से आपका खाता, सिंक डेटा और सत्र तुरंत मिट जाते हैं। फ़ोन का डेटा आपके फ़ोन पर ही रहता है (उसे ब्राउज़र/ऐप का डेटा साफ़ करके हटा सकते हैं)।

- भुगतान रिकॉर्ड (UTR, राशि, तारीख़) लेखा-जोखा और एक ही UTR के दोबारा उपयोग को रोकने के लिए रखा जाता है, पर खाता हटाने पर उससे आपका नाम/ईमेल/ID हटा दिया जाता है।
सुरक्षा
सारा संचार HTTPS पर होता है। डेटाबेस वेब से बाहर, सुरक्षित फ़ोल्डर में रखा जाता है।

In short: your PDF books stay on your phone and are never uploaded. We don’t sell your data and show no ads. You can delete your account and data at any time.
What we store (only if you create an account / sign in)
- Sign in with Google: the name, email address and Google account identifier (“sub”) that Google shares. We never receive your Google password.
- ID/password account: your chosen user ID and a hash (bcrypt) of your password — the password itself is never stored.
- Synced data: jap counters (names, counts, history), the text of pages you write/add in the book, reading progress and settings such as font size.
- Subscription records: trial start date, subscription expiry date, and for each UPI payment you report: the UTR number, amount, date and verification status.
- Security: session tokens (stored hashed only); IP address and ID of failed sign-in / abuse attempts (deleted automatically after about one day). The hosting server also keeps standard access logs (IP, time, page).
What we don’t store
- Your PDF files and the pages made from them stay on your device and are never uploaded.
- If you use the app without an account, everything stays only in your browser storage on your phone.
- No bank or card details. You pay from your own UPI app; we only see the UTR number you type in.
- No ads, no tracking or analytics.
How it is used
Only to sign you in, sync your jap counts and progress between your devices, run the free trial and subscription, and verify payments (new UTRs are emailed to us for checking). We never sell or rent your data.
Third-party services
- Google Sign-In (accounts.google.com), only when you choose “Continue with Google” — see policies.google.com/privacy.
- Google Fonts and pdf.js (cdnjs / jsdelivr) to load parts of the app.
- Online book search, if used, sends your query to archive.org / gutendex / gutenberg.
- UPI payments are handled by your UPI app and banks.
Deleting your data
- In the app: Menu → Account (☁) → “Delete account”. This immediately removes your account, synced data and sessions from our server. Data on your phone stays on your phone (clear the app/browser data to remove it).

- Payment records (UTR, amount, date) are kept for accounting and to stop the same UTR being reused, but your name/email/ID are removed from them when you delete your account.
